We are delighted that Fright Night has been nominated in the 2018 ScareCon Awards (http://www.scarecon.org/) for the best Scream Park, being short listed in these awards along with some of the top UK and European Halloween events that includes; Alton Towers, Madame Tussauds, London Dungeon is testament to 6 years of research and development to create Ireland's premier Halloween event that now attracts international visitors each year. Previously we were nominated in 2016 in the Award for Technical Excellence in 2017 for our use of special effects.
Fright Night ( https://www.thejungleni.com/event/fright-night/ ) was a vision realised by owner and director of The Jungle Robert Carmichael in 2011, what began as an interactive Woodland Trail with special effects envisioned by Robert and a team of 30 actors has now been transformed into a fully-fledged Halloween Scare Park with 6 separate scare attractions; The Inbred Horror House, The Slaughter House, Murderous Maze, The Circus, Hellish Hay Cart and Claustra Forest along with a £250,000 investment in a new Woodland Trail in 2016.
Fright Night which was awarded the “Best Unique Outdoor Experience” by Outdoor NI in 2015 and was part of our “Outstanding Visitor Experience” award from Tourism NI in 2016 now attracts international visitors to Northern Ireland each year hosting guest from Europe, Canada and The USA.
Domestically Fright Night offers valuable industry experience for make-up artists, special effects creators, script writers and actors that builds into the ever growing Screen and Movie industry that Northern Ireland currently provides.
For 2018 we will be working alongside Tourism Ireland, Tourism NI, Visit Belfast and Visit Derry to promote Fright Night to a larger international market. As Fright Night enters its 7th year we promise to delve deeper into your fears and create an experience like no other in Ireland and Europe.
